He has a super, big personality and always enjoys and appreciates attention. He is very well mannered to handle, easy to catch in the field and is happy to be turned out with both mares and geldings. He is totally non aggressive with others.
Wizard is happy living out but he is also content in his stable. He is always interested in the activities on the yard but is never demanding attention or restless in his box.
He has lovely open, very balanced uphill paces. Very obedient to the leg, not sensitive to it or sharp. Wizard has been very well produced.
He is happy in all traffic and is settled and calm in open spaces. He is not bothered about hacking out on his own and he is equally as comfortable in company. When behind he is not competitive. Generally speaking he is a non spooky horse but occasionally he will look at something unusual and always in a very safe and mannered way.
He has done RC Events with his owner and clinics. He has showjumped consistently at 2ft 9", he is not the fastest but always clear and very careful - fine with fillers etc.. He really enjoys his showjumping. He has also been XC and he is not phased by ditches or water and doesn't get excited even when he is out in a group.
He has been hunting down in Devon and is great at the meet with the hounds. He is not ever going to out run the hounds though! LOL
His owner has taken him to sponsored rides and he was great.....jumped everything and remained obedient even when horses went carreering past!!
Finally Wizard has been to several Showing Shows and has done extrememely well in Traditional Hunter classes, Show Hunter and Riding Club classes.
He travels very well and is great with the farrier. He is also very good to clip.
